  • The Bates WIDE saddle features a truly high performance seat that delivers a level of comfort and contact never previously experienced in a WIDE saddle. A deeper seat and ultra narrow waist enables the rider to sit deeper ‘into’ the saddle for a well-balanced and central position.
  • Maximised saddle stability is ensured with the adjustable Y-girthing system offering even distribution of pull from both the front and rear of the saddle. It is absolutely critical that you adjust this system equally on both sides of the saddle.
  • The panel is ultra generous offering an exceptionally large footprint on your horse’s back maximising the weight bearing area of the saddle for greater comfort and performance.
  • The Bates WIDE All Purpose features the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System WIDE offering you the choice of four interchangeable gullet plates (1XW – 4XW)
This saddle is second hand and has usual signs of wear where the stirrup leathers have been used but apart from that in very good condition. Can be supplied with gullet of your choice.
